Jay is both a designer with big marketing ideas and an idea guy with serious design chops. He studied at Illinois Wesleyan and Western Illinois Universities, but his real – and ongoing – education is based on his commitment to studying how design, copy, research and ROI interact in the real world of consumers and their ever-evolving behavior.
As a dynamic leader and multiple Addy award-winner, Jay’s work history is varied and rich, having served as creative director for online and print campaigns for national brands including P&G, HSN, United Healthcare and others.
When not thinking up the next innovative campaign, Jay is on the run to his kids’ practices and events; he’s a known foodie and craft beer connoisseur, and – fun fact – his old band once played a gig with The Smashing Pumpkins (before they were, well The Smashing Pumpkins).
